PLATO: Harley Harris

Hello! My name is Harley Harris and I am a sophomore BA Theatre and Performance major. I am playing Plato, and it has been a wild but amazing ride. I have enjoyed working on this show with old and new friends alike, and getting to learn and grow with them has been a great experience. I'm so excited for everyone to see the hard work we've put into bringing these characters and their stories to life! I would like to thank everyone who has worked on this show, and all of my friends and family who have supported me along the way.

PETER: Josh Elliot

Josh Eliot (Peter) is a sophomore film production major. This is his second show at OCU & his Shadow Collective debut! His favorite previous credits include Art (Yvan), 12 Angry Jurors (No.8), The Wizard of Oz (Uncle Henry/Palace Guard), The Pajama Game (Hines), and The Medium (Toby). He would like to thank his family, his boyfriend, and all of his friends for constantly supporting him through his many artistic passions. He would also like to thank the cast and crew of 123/60-100 for being incredible and making this experience so rewarding.

STEPHEN: Olive Kay

Olive Kay (Stephen) is a junior BA Theatre and Performance Major with minors in Costume Construction and Political Science. You've recently seen her or her work in Straightening Up: A Gay Farce (writer/Ashley), Crazy for You (assistant costume designer), and It's Not About You. She also has assisted with dramaturgy both at OKCU and Lyric Theatre. She would like to thank her wonderful castmates, friends, family, dogs, and the McElroys for all their support.

SAPPHO: Megan Poole

Megan is excited to be playing Sappho, and be apart of this production’s journey. Her past roles include Frank Goodman in Men on Boats with OCU’s edge, Bad Shakespeare as actor 4 in Edinburgh, Scotland at the Fringe Festival, and a Swing in Out of the Box’s War of the worlds. She would love to thank Katelyn, Lauren, and Maddison for their belief in her. Max and liv for their beautiful story. And Erik and Hannah for running this organization that brings new works to life. Finally, she would love to thank her cast, teachers, family, God, and her little brother Douglas.

DIANA: Ella Dolynchuk

Ella Dolynchuk (Diana) is a Freshman Musical Theatre major originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. After living overseas and in Minneapolis, she is excited for a change in OKC! She is over the moon to be making her debut in this beautiful tale and in such a relevant role. She would like to thank Katelyn, Lauren and Madison for their wonderful guidance and leadership, her cast for being her rock and her family back home. She hopes you enjoy the show and take away a message of acceptance and healing. 
 

 

 

DIOGENES: Sadie Koopman

Sadie is a Freshmen Music Theater and Vocal Performance major. She is from Cincinnati, OH and is making her OCO debut.

ERIN: Jo Muscarella

Jo Muscarella is a sophomore BFA Acting major whose previous works include: writer of “Wild Flowers” for the 24hr Play Festival and Kai in “Straightening Up: A Gay Farce,” both with The Shadow Collective. Jo is ecstatic to work with an incredible cast on such a poignant script, thanks Max and Liv for this show, and would like to give special thanks to Liv for her constant encouragement.

ARISTOPHANES: Emmett Reese 

Emmett Reese is a freshman BFA Acting major. Playing Aristophanes, he is thankful to be working with the Shadow Collective to bring life to this wonderful work. His more recent credits include roles in Legally Blonde and Into the Woods. Hope you enjoy the show!

DR.BAUMGARDNER/O’HARE/(SAPPHO US): Nicole Gould 

Nichole Gould is a sophomore BA Music major. Her favorite past roles include The Blue Fairy in Pinocchio and Luisa in The Fantasticks. Nichole wants to thank Katelyn and the rest of the creative team for giving her the opportunity to work on this show. She has loved working with this wonderful cast and is so excited to share this show with everyone.

DR. JOENS/(DIOGENES US): Sydney White

Sydney White is a double Major in Vocal Performance and Musical Theater that studies voice with Dr. Holleman. She is from San Antonio, Texas. She is a freshman and this is her first show at Oklahoma City University. She has been so grateful for this experience and is thankful for all of the work the cast, directors and writers have put into the show.

DR. GALEN: Emma Krajicek

Emma Krajicek is very excited to be playing Dr. Galen in this production, and accompanying the show on the piano. She would like to thank her three fams for supporting her-her OG family, studio family, and phi Mu family. She would like to thank you for coming out and hopes you take away something profound from this show.

TESSA/MOVEMENT CAPTAIN: Brianna Sadofsky 

She is a sophomore Musical Theatre Major from Dallas Texas. Some credits include West Side Story (Anita), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Shrek (Fiona) and Chorus Line (Cassie). She would like to thank Katelyn Curtain, Lauren Leppke, and Madison Polozola for all of their work and effort that they put into this show! She is excited to be a part of this production and hopes you enjoy the show!

REBECCA/(DIANA US): Sydney Turbeville

Sydney Turbeville will be playing the role of Rebecca Van Houten. She is a freshman BFA Acting Major. This is her first show at OCU and she is so thankful for everyone who made this possible.

Maxwell McIntire is a Senior BFA Acting Major at OCU. Recent OCU credits include Assistant Costume Designer for The Wolves; Male Swing/Announcer in Off the Air; Understudy in Three Sisters; he will also be in OCU's upcoming production of Arcadia as Bernard. He would like to thank his mom and dad for their continued support (raising two performance majors isn’t easy) and Mrs. Cole, the high school teacher who got him started down the road of playwrighting!

 Liv Story

Liv is a sophomore BFA Acting major with a Directing minor from Cortez, Colorado. This is Liv's first writing project on campus but has previously acted in Tainted (2018) and The Goddamn Succulent (2019). She is very excited to be working with the Shadow Collective on this show, and has loved and learned so much from the process. She would like to thank Maxwell, the cast, and the entire creative team for the experience and for bringing this show to life beyond what she ever imagined.

Katelyn is a Junior BFA Acting major and directing minor! She is so excited to direct her first show at OCU! She most recently assistant directed On The at Capital City Theatre with The Josh Walden! She is so proud of her cast and production team for all their hard work. She would like to thank her parents, Brett, and her Phi Mu sisters for all their love and support!! She hopes you all enjoy the show!

Madison Polozola (Stage Manager) is a Sophomore BFA Acting major with a Children's Theatre minor from Fort Worth, Texas! She is very excited and proud of her amazing cast and creative team for producing such beautiful new work, and she would like to thank them for allowing her to be a part of it.

Laura Tapia

Laura Tapia is a Freshman majoring in Theatre and Performance! Previous technical credits include SM for Our Town, Tech Director for Mary Poppins, Jr., Director for Over the River and Through the Woods, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and Tigers be Still. She is looking forward to devising a piece for the Fringe Festival and participating in Directing Scenes; she hopes to direct a show for OCU in the near future! Go Stars!
